Overview

Close-Quarters Battle (CQB) planning maps an objective structure floor by floor, defines entry points, assigns teams to rooms, and sequences the breach.

Step 1: Create a CQB Plan

In Dark Dot, add a new plan to your operation and select the CQB type. This opens the Konva-based indoor canvas.

Step 2: Map the Structure

Use the room tool to draw each room. Label rooms by their tactical designation (e.g., Room 1, Stairwell A). Add doors and mark them as entry, exit, or internal.

Step 3: Add Floors

For multi-story structures, use the floor manager to add levels. Each floor is an independent layer.

Step 4: Assign Teams

Link rooms and entry points to your operation's teams. Use objectives to assign priorities — for example, "Secure Room 1 — Alpha Team — Priority 1".

Step 5: Review and Brief

Use the 3D preview to verify the floor plan makes sense spatially before briefing subordinate elements.
